Heavy-duty, Completely Sealed Commercial Fiberglass Door
Special-Lite® AF-100 doors are 1-3/4″ thick, hermetically sealed, and immune to moisture and corrosive gasses or liquids, making them ideal for environments that quickly destroy even stainless steel doors. This commercial fiberglass door is perfect for industrial facilities requiring regular sanitization, such as clean rooms, pharmaceutical manufacturing, and food processing, or locations inherently corrosive to steel doors, such as wastewater treatment facilities, coastal areas, etc.
Our Pultruded Fiberglass Doors are dimensionally and aesthetically equivalent to hollow metal doors but offer performance, durability, and longevity that hollow metal doors cannot match. Our custom fiberglass door manufacturing and construction meets FDA and USDA guidelines, allowing this door to be used in applications with even the most stringent cleanliness and safety requirements. This beautiful, smooth, rugged, corrosion-resistant door features:
- A 6 lb./cubic foot closed polyurethane cell foam core wrapped in 4 layers of glass fiber reinforcements and resin encapsulated to 1/8″ for incredible impact resistance.
- Stile edges are 9/16″ thick of FRP structural reinforcement, allowing maximum screw-holding capability.
- The standard mortise bottom rail allows for field trimming, and the optional flush bottom rail assists with cleaning and sterilization.
